May 15, 2024. When She called

Image
Love is, What you regret later  Forever, and ever, (and ever) Love is, a hurtful endeavor,  Hard to savor. Love is, when the odds are, Not in your favor. Love is, What you do, When the "wise people" say, don’t.

Him

I will have all the beauty, None of the ugliness. I will Recite poetry and pain, It will keep me sane. All that is not beauty, I shall abstain.

Temporary Temptation (S.S)

Sweet Talk, Sour spaces, Bitter Breaks. I know it is a pretense, Never will be true. But, the outcome it will bring, It will remain forever. Sweet anticipation,  Sour temptation,  Bitter illusion. Conversation we exchange,  From two ends of a song. You are the high-note,  I am a declining tong.  ....

I Am Okay!

It's okay, I am okay. The Earth is filled with innumerarable elements. seen and unseen. colored and discolored. shaped and unshaped. discovered and disregarded.  From so many choices, what are the odds, I ends up as a Human being?  but It's okay. why did my gaze stop at her in a room full of forty-something brainiacs?  why after years of punishment, my mind still wanders, knowing that she is meant for someone else? why then I daydream?  My sweet fog evaporates when she is with the right person, which is okay. I am okay.

QUITTIN'

How do I find the courage, to let go? Do I really need It? I just go. leaving courage and cowardice behind.

WTF!

Once you were  a child. then acting like  a child. then, you are holding  a child.

Emerge, Exists, Exit!

You come. learned to be better, Try to be better, Teach, to be better. Leave a part of yourself and then exit.

You

Delusional diarrhea about you,  I used to suffer from It. Woefully weak, Thirst for you, dry me. After drinking plenty of reason, Resting my boring biology (a treason!) After Eating solid logic of life, I am cured, at last!

Poems for Palestine

6 out of 21 (1) 75 years! Is it just a number?  An information? Buried, deep. Bloody past, blasts. Dreams, demolished. Memories, crushed. Courage, trapped. Fear, fired at. Unburied sleep. (2) Occupied and stolen- Land, Dreams, Future, By the blue baboons. Resilient and brave, Are the man,                Women,        And, children.  Of  watermelon and olive land. (3) The father, who lost his daughter, Stands beside a son. The son, who lost his father, Stands beside a brother. The brother, who lost a sister,  Stands beside a husband. The husband, who lost a wife, Stands beside a grandfather. The grandfather, who lost all, Stands beside a boy. The boy, who lost a mother, Stands next to a rubble. Where everyone was lost. Unloving

I have been hit  By the Cupid, With a blunt arrow!

Beloved's Poet

She walks, talks, and behave Just like any "one one-of-a-kind" would, My beloved. Has all the elements to enchant And to weaken your wit, Resist that you simply can't. All in all, she has it all. He writes just as he looks, As good with people as with books. Worships great poet that came before, Recite their poems, and  Read their lore. All in all, he has it all! "One of a kind" her, And "Crafty mind" him. Walk beside each other, But there is "nothing" In between. They walk, They listen, They talk, and get smitten,  by "nothingness". 11/06/24 Now, what more can I say  about my beloved? She wanders and wanders, wondering where next she will go. Unknown alleys she travels, her life turned indigo. (The narrator of this poem is Bekkol )
