Nobody loves anybody in this place!

A boy helps a girl,

For the sake of helping.

A girl gives a gift to a boy,

For the sake of giving.


A gaze is just a gaze.

A playful word is just a play.

A biting lip is…nothing!


Nobody loves anybody in this place!


Here, 
Everybody knows each other very well.
They are almost relative. 
Almost! but never.

Here,
they call each other 
with playful nicknames. 
Names with loving care,
But love never reveals itself,
From hide and seek.


“What is love?

What is passion?”

Do not ask them.

Pure soul. all figured out!

Living for the sake of living.


Here,

you show love.

But never say it.

  চেহারার মতো মানুষের অনুভূতির প্রকাশেভঙ্গিও ভিন্ন ।  সোজা-সাপ্টা কথা বলা রিধি অনূভুতির কথা বলে আড়ালে। যাকে উদ্দেশ্য করে কথাগুলো তাকে বিজ্ঞ প্রত্নতাত্ত্বিকের মতো অনূভুতিগুলো খুঁজে বের করতে হবে। সেই রিধি বিশেষ একজনকে ভালোবাসে। যদিও বিশেষ সেই মানুষটাকে কোনো রকম বিশেষণ দিয়ে সে ডাকে না। না, এ তেমন সম্পর্ক নয়। বাইরে থেকে সে মানুষটা অনেকের মধ্যে একজন। স্কুলে যেতে যেতে তাদের কথা হয় । স্কুল থেকে আসতে আসতে তাদের কথা হয়। কথার বিষয়বস্তু সবসময় পড়া কিংবা চারপাশের প্রতিনিয়ত ঘটমান পরিস্থিতির গন্ডির মধ্যে থাকে। তাদের সময় চলে যায় কথা কাটাকাটির মধ্যে। অনিচ্ছাস্বত্তেও রিধি কথার ধারালো ফলায় এই মানুষটাকে ছোট করে ফেলে। মানুষটার মন খারাপ হয়ে যায় । কিছুদিন নিরব সময় কাটে। কোনোদিন আবার তাদের কথা হয়। কাটাকাটি হয়। চক্র চলতে থাকে। মৌসমের রঙ বদলায় । তাদের মনের ভেতরের মৌসমও কি রঙ বদলায়? সেটা জানা হয় না কারো। মুখ দিয়ে কিছু প্রকাশ না পেলেও আচরণে মৌসমের রঙ লাগে। আড়ালে আড়ালে খেলা চলে। লুকোচুরি খেলা। হয়তো আরও অনেক সময় চলতো যদি না ভাগ্য এসে বেয়াড়া ভাবে দাঁড়ি বসিয়ে দিত । সে অনেক কাল আগের কথা । রিধি এখন বাসা থেকে ১...

  “Let me forget what life is and learn again” ফখরুদ্দিন মুহাম্মদ আশ শামস ওয়ালিউল্লাহ একজন সুখি মানুষ । তার রাত নামের মতোই দীর্ঘ । আলোর দূষণ না থাকলে হয়তো সে রাতটা তারা গুণে কাটাতো। বাধ্য হয়ে তাই এখন মশারির ভেতর মশা গুনছে। ৫টা গোনার পর মনে প্রশ্ন জাগলো । মশা কি পাঁচটা নাকি একই মশা পাঁচ বার করে কানের কাছে তাওয়াফ করছে? চিন্তার বিষয় । সুখি মানুষের সফরসঙ্গি। সঙ্গিহীন ফখরুদ্দিন ঠোট কামড়ালো। চোখগুলো কুচকে এলো। কেঁদে ফেলবে কেঁদে ফেলবে ভাব। কিন্তু কাঁদে না। এসব ফখরুদ্দিনের চিন্তার ফসল। একটা মশা পি পি করে এসে তার কানের কাছে এলো। আরও কিছুক্ষণ পি পি করে কানের লতির পিছনে গিয়ে বসলো। ফখরুদ্দিন হাতটা অতি কৌশলে নিরব ঘাতকের মতো করে শা করে লতি বরাবর টার্গেট করলো । ডান কানটায় রিংং– করে উঠলো। ধ্যাত! টার্গেটটা মিস হয়ে গেল । বেহাত হওয়া মশা পি পি করে চলে গেলো। ফখরুদ্দিন ব্যাথায় এখন কান ঘষছে । মোতজার্টের লেক্রিমোসা বেজে উঠলো। কেউ কল করেছে । মোতজার্টের ধ্বনি যেহেতু জ্যামিতিক হারে বাড়ে তাই কলটা কানে যেতে সময় লাগলো। কলার আইডি ছিলো না, তাই কল ধরে জিজ্ঞেস করতে হলো, আসসালামু আলাইকুম, কে বলছেন? এটা কি ফখরুদ্দিন ...
